This policy explains how the Vantrel referral program works, how attribution and payouts are handled, and which program behaviors can lead to review, reversal, or suspension. It is meant to give partners a clearer view of both opportunity and responsibility.
1. Purpose and Scope
This Referral Policy governs participation in the Vantrel referral program operated by Vantrel Technologies Limited. It applies to all referral partners, applicants, and referred users interacting with referral links, codes, attribution flows, and payout processes on vantrel.io.
3. Eligibility and Enrollment
- Referral partners must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of contracting.
- Applications may be accepted or rejected at Vantrel sole discretion for legal, compliance, risk, or business reasons.
- Partners must provide accurate information and keep profile and payout details current.
- Partners must comply with applicable sanctions, anti-fraud, anti-money-laundering, tax, and advertising-disclosure requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
- Vantrel may suspend or revoke partner status for policy violations, fraud risk, or regulatory obligations.
4. Referral Codes and Attribution
- Approved partners are issued a unique referral code and tracking attribution.
- Attribution is created when a user completes purchase using an eligible referral path and valid referral code logic.
- Attribution generally follows last-touch referral logic at checkout and is finalized after conversion settlement.
- Only one partner attribution applies per user and exam scope at a time under platform attribution rules.
- Referral code storage may use local storage for continuity through checkout.
5. Commission Structure
- Commission rates are configured by Vantrel and may vary by partner, code, campaign, exam, and period.
- Commission rate is snapshot-locked at conversion time.
- Commissions are calculated on qualifying transaction value as defined by platform rules and partner terms.
- Refunded, reversed, voided, or ineligible transactions do not qualify for final payout.
6. Hold Period and Reversals
- All commissions are subject to a 14-day hold period from conversion date.
- If the underlying transaction is refunded or reversed during hold, commission is automatically cancelled.
- After hold expiry, eligible commissions proceed to the next payout cycle subject to policy compliance.
7. KYC and Payout Requirements
- Partners must complete Know Your Customer verification before receiving payouts.
- KYC may include legal identity details, address validation, and payout beneficiary checks.
- Payouts may be blocked until verification is complete and approved.
- False information or forged documents may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of pending commissions.
8. Payout Schedule and Currencies
- Payouts are processed in periodic payout batches based on eligible and approved commission balances.
- A minimum payout threshold may apply and is defined in the active referral program settings or partner terms.
- Supported payout corridors and currencies depend on provider and jurisdiction availability at processing time.
- Disbursements are processed through third-party payment providers and are subject to provider processing times, checks, and fees.
- Partners are responsible for their own tax reporting and payment obligations unless mandatory law requires withholding.
9. Prohibited Conduct
- Self-referral, fake accounts, coordinated signups, and identity spoofing are prohibited.
- Bot traffic, IP farming, click manipulation, and artificial conversion inflation are prohibited.
- Misleading advertising, impersonation, undisclosed paid endorsements, and unauthorized brand use are prohibited.
- Spam or unsolicited bulk outreach that violates applicable communications or advertising laws is prohibited.
- Any attempt to circumvent controls, attribution logic, fraud detection, or payout gates is prohibited.
10. Fraud Monitoring and Enforcement
- Vantrel applies automated and manual fraud controls, including velocity and duplicate-signal checks.
- High-risk or unresolved fraud flags may result in payout holds, suspension, or account termination.
- Vantrel may reverse, offset, or recover commissions linked to refunds, chargebacks, fraud, legal requirements, or manifest error, where lawful.
- Vantrel records are authoritative for attribution, conversion status, and payout determination.
11. Data Protection and Retention
Referral data, including attribution, KYC records, fraud indicators, and payout logs, is processed under the Privacy Policy and retained according to legal, audit, and compliance requirements.
See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details.
12. Modification, Suspension, and Termination
Vantrel may amend, suspend, or discontinue the referral program or any part of it, including eligibility, commission rates, thresholds, and payout procedures, where required by law, risk management, or operational necessity. Material updates will be communicated where legally required.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Disputes shall first be submitted to arbitration or equivalent pre-litigation resolution in Lagos, Nigeria, where legally enforceable. Court proceedings in the courts of Lagos State are the final resort, without limiting mandatory rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
